Why Volunteer?
By volunteering with the Friends of Musser Public Library, you help raise funds for library programming and join other like-minded people in getting behind MPL’s outreach efforts. You will also have a lot of fun in the process!
What can I volunteer for?
- Be a board member. The Friends of Musser Public Library meets the first Wednesday of every month at noon in MPL’s Room 202. As a board member, you help shape the direction of the group, plan events, decide how to raise funds and how to spend them.
- Help with fundraising. Use your creative genius and help us find interesting and fun ways to raise funds for the library’s original and imaginative programming. We want to bring our public together for parties, games, trivia, refreshments, sales, discussions, lectures - anything your mind can help us dream up! We also need “worker bees” to staff sales tables, emcee, bake, buy or make prizes, run errands, or whatever else is needed.
